The school adopts a monument

The Petranova school, situated in District III of Rome city, has decided to adopt a street- “Via Nomentana: From Porta Pia to St Agnes, outside the walls”

The pupils from different classes were involved in the elaboration of different projects that have as their theme this significant area of Rome.

Expected to follow are recreation and expressive excursions for the Primary school, and for Secondary historical, narrative and artistic excursions. Interviewing residents from the area and “important figures”, and photographic reports of the buildings, the streets and of the green zones of the area.

These works will be published through activities and advertising organised by the City Council.

Furthermore, there will be an exposition at our schools of the work put together by our students and also a Cd will be published.
